About me
I’m a versatile and multi-skilled communicator, thanks to my background in advertising and broadcast TV, both of which gave me a firm grounding in storytelling, user-centred content, and managing teams.
Since pivoting into technology I have led award-winning projects at Meta as a content designer working with chatbots and large language models. I enjoy the technical side of product work and became a Content Engineering Lead to help designers own their content end to end.
In my work as a conversation designer and developer, I’ve designed complex interactions, trained neural networks, and designed training sets. My work has improved intent recognition rates for one client from 78 to 89%. An even nicer measure of success was a customer telling the bot they were her “best friend”! I love the way this work draws on linguistics, technology, psychology and conversational writing.
I’m enthusiastic about a lot of things and I’ve always got a course on the go, or a side project. Currently, I’m upskilling in data analysis on an L4 apprenticeship, and learning how to grow fruit, vegetables and other plants. I’m from Bristol, have two lovely kids and live in a village with a fantastic cheese shop.
